David Nerlich is a Rose Bay local  working in the visual arts and film (he directed the Australian feature film Black Water in 2007). He studied at Sydney College of the Arts, UNSW College of Fine Arts (COFA) and the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS).​

Davids drawings employ free flowing ink in fast dynamic lines.

​

Work on show at Sugarloaf is framed with aluminium and glass. Other work is available framed or unframed.

Drawings are on 100-150 gsm art paper including those utilising laser printed elements.
